7) Jeff and others are involved with pushing GPU paralleling processing as a low-cost approach to massively parallel processing (MPP).

9) New buzz word – NEIS for NOAA Environmental Information System, which may be a future funding source for Eric, Julien, Jeff and team.

11) Buzz is teaching his Computer Animation class using Maya on Tuesday/Thursdays at 11:00-12:15 in Atlas. Anyone want to observe some day with me?
